What to Expect
We realize it is never easy to visit a new church for the first time so we want to be as helpful as we can to make your experience a good one. Let’s talk about dress. A few people dress up, but most people choose to come in “business casual” We want you to worship with us dressed the way that you feel comfortable.
Worship
This time is set aside for communicating with God from our hearts. We have live upbeat praise music with guitars and drums, as well as more intimate songs of worship. You will hear contemporary songs as well as some traditional hymns. Everyone worships in his own way – for many, that means singing and clapping, and for others it means quietly reflecting on the words. You are welcome to do whatever makes you most comfortable.
Giving
Each week there is a time to worship God through the giving of tithes and offerings. We usually highlight and pray for one of our missionaries before the offering is taken. Then the ushers will pass an offering plate. As our guest, please do not feel any pressure to give. This is an act of worship for our regular attendees, allowing them to thank God for all of the great work he is doing in their lives. It also gives our Church the means to reach more people for Christ in the future and desciple those who have already committed their lives to Him.
Learning
Every weekend, you will hear a relevant, straightforward message that is based on Scripture and is designed to be helpful in your everyday life. Our emphasis is on teaching rather than entertaining. We trust that these messages will help you develop a growing, vibrant relationship with Jesus Christ and provide a strong biblical foundation for your life.
Communion
On the first Sunday of each month, we celebrate communion together. All who have trusted in Jesus Christ alone for their forgiveness and eternal life are invited to participate in this time of reflection and prayer. One of the Elders leads in a short meditation followed by this wonderful time of worship and remembrance. The bread and the fruit of the vine that we share represent the life He gave up so that our sins could be forgiven.
